The Erie Community College football team put on a display for alumni, students, faculty and potential recruits at the ADPRO Sports Training Center, formerly known as the Ralph C. Wilson Fieldhouse in Orchard Park, April 21.
After about a week of practice at the ADPRO Training Center, the Kats alternated players in an offensive and defensive showdown. The practice facility is arguably the best of any used by any junior college football team, if not any college's program from Division I on down.
Head coach Scott Pilkey oversaw the event, while allowing his offensive and defensive coordinators to go against one another. The second-year coach who has put together back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in about a decade, took time to gather recruits and their parents between play for an information session.
The Kats posted a 7-3 record last season and set a program record for road wins under Pilkey, who will begin his third season officially in August.
