Baseball Ends Southern Road Trip With Loss to Harford Community College, Finishes 4-1 In Maryland

The Kats wrapped up a southern roadtrip with a 22-11 loss to Harford Community College on Sunday. The loss ends 17 game stretch that started in Florida and worked their way up to Maryland. 

Homeruns from Domenico Morea and Kevin Walter highlighted the day for the Kats. Morea would add four RBI for the Kats. Levi Vaughn tallied two RBI for the Kats while Walter, Jordan Kowalski, Mike Flemming, Kyle Blunt and Mike Scott added one each.

Ryan Williams would get the loss on the mound while striking out three batters.

The Kats were 4-1 on the Maryland leg of the trip with two wins over CCBC Essex and two wins over Cecil College. Jordan Kowalski leads the Kats in RBIs following the trip with 19 while Alex Whipple leads with four homeruns. Mike Fleming is hitting an impressive .438 with 16 RBI and two homeruns. 

Offense is highlighting the season so far as the Kats are averaging 7.8 runs a game.

The Kats will make their way back to Western New York and take on Jamestown Community College in a double header on Sunday March 31st at 1PM.
