Football Falls To Lackawanna

Scranton, PA-- The Kats fell to Lackawanna College, 49-14, last night in Scranton. The Kats faced a tough Lackawanna defense that forced turnovers all night. The Kats went down early, trailing 14-0 after the first quarter.

The Kats offense would strike late in the second quarter when Alex Douglas would find Tyler Ringwood for a 34 yard touchdown pass. Lackawanna would find the endzone twice before the half to take a 28-7 lead over the Kats into the half. 

The Kats would score again early in the second half when Michael Johnson would punch in a four yard touchdown run. 

Lackawanna would go on to score 21 answered points to put the Kats away. 

Alex Douglas would lead the Kats passing attack with 167 yards while Michael Johnson would add 67 yards on the ground for the Kats offense. D'Andre Jenkins would lead the Kats defense with 8 tackles and a sack.

The Kats will look to bounce back when they take on the College of DuPage at 12PM at West Herr Stadium at ECC South Campus on Saturday, October 7th.
