Football Falls To No. 6 Lackawanna, 29-10

Orchard Park, NY -- The Kats fell down early in the game and were never able to climb back fully, falling to the sixth ranked Lackawanna Falcons, 29-10 on Saturday at West Herr Stadium.

The Kats were down 10-0 in the second quarter when John Dolac would block a Lackawanna punt attempt to set up the Kats offense at the Lackawanna 20 yard line. Quarterback Jack Edwards would find Isaiah Brown for a 20 yard touchdown on the very next play for the Kats only touchdown on the day.

The Kats would allow 13 unanswered points before Charles Hayes would kick a field goal to bring the score to 23-10 in the third quarter.

A touchdown run from Lackawanna in the fourth quarter would put the game away for the Falcons.

The Kats defense would be crucial to keeping the Kats in the game, including an interception from Kristian Chavers.

The Kats fall to 3-1 on the season before heading to Illinois to take on the College of DuPage on Saturday October 6th at 12 PM.
