Football Is Bogged Down In Slop Fest in Loss to Monroe College, 12-7

Orchard Park, NY -- It was a muddy affair as the Kats took on the Monroe College Mustangs on Saturday at West Herr Stadium. Both offenses failed to gain traction as the Kats fell 12-7 to the Mustangs.

The lone touchdown for the Kats came in the first quarter when Khalil Horton would score on a seven yard touchdown run at 7:35 of the first quarter.

The Mustangs would return the ensuing kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown to put the game at 7-6.

The Mustangs would take the lead at the 8:59 mark of the second quarter on a one yard rushing touchdown.

The second half was a slow moving battle of field position, yielding no scoring on either side.

John Dolac and Mason Hoose would register sacks for the Kats on the defensive side of the ball.

The Kats are back in action on November 10th when they host Nassau Community College at 12PM for their final game of the season.
