Men’s Cross Country Faces Local Competition at Meghan Memorial Invitational

After opening the season at Roberts Wesleyan College, the men's cross country team returned to the Buffalo area to compete in the Meghan Memorial Invitation at Hilbert College. Other local teams in the competition included Medaille College, D'Youville College, and Villa Maria College. The meet was an opportunity for the men to race a 5k, which is shorter than the usual 8k distance.

John Graber led the squad with a time of 22:00, which placed him 28th overall and 17th among collegiate runners. William Speyer made his season debut, clocking in at 25:09 for 41st place overall.

Next on the schedule for the men's cross country is the Canisius Alumni Classic at Delaware Park on October 19.
