Three Kats Named to All-WNYAC Softball Team

Coming off a 17-11 season and its third straight regional tournament appearance, the SUNY Erie Community College softball team had three of its members recognized by the Western New York Athletic Conference.

Freshman outfielder Bayley Bannister and freshman pitcher Brittany McAndrews were named First Team All-WNYAC and freshman shortstop Morgan Ryerse was a Second Team selection.

Bannister, who also was an All-Region selection, led the Kats with a .425 batting average, 10 doubles, four home runs and 28 RBI. McAndrews was 9-4 with a 3.46 earned run average as a pitcher. She also hit .397 at the plate. Ryerse hit .355 with 26 RBI and had a team-high 15 stolen bases.
