Women's Lacrosse Opens Season With A Win Over Nassau And Loss To Suffolk

SUNY Erie's women's lacrosse team opened the season with a 15-4 win over Nassau Community College on Saturday, followed by a 10-6 loss to Suffolk Community College on Sunday.

Hannah Clarkson would open the season with a five goal performance while Olivia Potts and Natali Ninova would add three goals each. Potts would also add two assists in the season opener. Katie Todaro would have 15 saves in net on 19 shots for the win.

In the second game of the weekend, Brianna Fridmann would have four goals but it would not be enough as the Kats fell 10-6.

The Kats are back in action on Wednesday April 11th as the Kats travel to Genesee Community College. Game time is 4PM.
