Women's Soccer Continues Winning Ways With 6-2 Win Over Corning Community College

Orchard Park, NY -- Three goals from Jill Spangler would lift the Kats over Corning Community College, 6-2. Goals from Emily LeBlanc, Jena Schelble and Annabelle MacIntosh would round out the scoring in their sixth win in a row.

“It’s great that we are continuing to get results and it’s the product of the ladies’ hard work throughout the week and diligence leading up to the games. We have to continue to push forward after each match, and that’s what we’ll look to do." said Coach Boughton.

“As a coach I was happy to see us respond positively to the challenges we faced throughout the 90 minutes today. It wasn’t our cleanest game in terms of possession and transition, but at the end of the day we got the result we needed.”

The Kats will look to continue their winning streak when they take on Tompkins Cortland Community College on Saturday September 15th at SUNY Erie South at 1PM.
