Women's Soccer Continues Historic Start With Tenth Win In A Row

Orchard Park, NY -- The Kats continued their program-best start with their tenth win in a row with a 5-1 win over Genesee Community College on Thursday.

The second ranked Kats were lead in scoring again by Jena Schelble who had two goals and an assist for the Kats. Jill Spangler, Ciera Lundy and Kayla Goeddertz.

“It always feels really good to get a win against not only a rival but a quality team at that. The girls played a very good game with the adjustments we needed to make and I’m proud of them - which seems to be a trend here.” said Coach Gary Boughton.

“This was a big result for us & we have to turn around for another test this weekend. Our team’s willingness to come in, do the work, knowing we have to always be pushing ahead is a testament to the ladies. I’m excited to grow from this win; hopefully it leads to more."

The Kats host SUNY Broome on Saturday for the final regular season home game of the year. Kick off is set for 2:30 PM at SUNY Erie South.
