Here is an update on three former Erie Community College baseball players playing professional baseball this summer.
Blair Lakso picked up his second win of the season on the mound Sunday for the Elizabethton Twins. He held his opponent scoreless in three innings of relief, striking out four and walking one. Lakso is in his second season of minor league baseball after getting signed by the Minnesota Twins last year.
Shawn Dubin, a 13th-round draft pick by the Houston Astros earlier this month, has made two relief appearances for the Tri-City Valleycats. He has allowed two runs in 2.2 innings of work, striking out five and walking one.
Marc Dileo is hitting .281 for the Southern Illinois Miners. In 28 games played, he is 25-for-89 with 11 RBI.
