Men's Basketball Splits Close Games At Monroe College Tournament

New Rochelle, NY -- The Kats would split two close games at the Monroe College Tournament over the weekend, dropping a game to the Herkimer Generals 70-69 and defeating the Monroe College Mustangs 64-63 the next day. 

Kasey Walker-Gregg and Pedro Marquez would lead the Kats in scoring against the Generals with 15 points, with Michael Motley adding 11 points. The Kats would lead at the half but the Generals were able to mount a comeback and hold off the Kats late in the game.

The Kats would bounce back with a win against the Mustangs the next day when Walkger-Gregg and Kyle Harris would lead the team with 14 points each. Motley would add 13 points and lead the Kats in rebounds with 9 in the Kats team effort to defeat the Mustangs. 

The Kats are back on the court Wednesday January 24th when they travel to Jamestown Community College for a 7:30PM tipoff.
