Men's Hockey Wins Two At Home Against Clarkson, Improves to 4-0

Buffalo, NY -- The Kats swept two games over Clarkson University, 3-0 and 5-4, at Cheektowaga Town Rink to improve to 4-0.

On Saturday, the Kats shutout Clarkson 3-0 on the back of stellar goaltending from Max Allan. Allan stopped all 34 shots he faced in net while Michal Swacha, Brett Sardina and David Christopher would score for the Kats.

Sunday would be a much closer game as the Kats narrowly passed Clarkson, 5-4. Tied at 3 after two periods, the Kats would outscore Clarkson in the third, 2-1, with goals from Sean Degnan and Timothy Pellittieri to give the Kats the 5-4 win. Goaltender Hadley Heath stopped 27 of 31 shots.

The Kats are back on the ice this weekend when they host Mercyhurst College on Saturday at 3PM at Cheektowaga Town Rink and then travel to St Bonaventure University on Sunday for a 3PM faceoff.
