Starting on September 26, SUNY Erie Community College and its Student Government Association (SGA) will join numerous Western New York groups to compete in the Buffalo City Mission's Mission Possible Food Drive School Challenge (through December 16) to help stamp out hunger in Buffalo and its surrounding communities.
ECC Kats Football is excited in assisting SGA team with its Every Can Counts mantra and their Mission Possible Food Drive School Challenge goal of 5000 cans, by hosting a donation drive during their Saturday, October 1st (12:00 PM) and Sunday, November 6th (2:00 PM) home games. Games are held at the West Herr Stadium at South Campus.
On October 1st, receive a raffle ticket for every 5 canned goods donated and be entered to win a 16GB iPad Mini 4, which has been graciously donated by the ECC CITS Department. The raffle drawing is to be held at halftime on game day. You must be present to win.
This is a great cause and ECC Football hopes to make a large donation of canned foods to the Buffalo City Mission. SGA is requesting to preferably bring from following requests: tuna, chicken, yams, gravy, peanut butter/jelly, mixed vegetables, string beans, soup and/or corn for iPad raffle eligibility.
