The Kats lost to Hudson Valley Community College 37-7 on Saturday. The Kats were impressive on their first drive of the game, going 49 yards on 12 plays and capping it off with an Brayden Hoch touchdown catch from quarterback Eric Wilson. After that, Erie would struggle to mount any real pressure on the Vikings. Despite the lack of offense, the Kats would only find themselves down 10-7 going into the half.
Erie would start the second half with the ball but only managed a total of 37 yards for the half. The fourth quarter saw Hudson put up 20 point to secure the victory for the Vikings.
The Kats would again use two quarterbacks in this game with Wilson and Thomas Che combining for 93 yards passing.
Sophomore Ticheme Harris led the team in tackles with seven.
