Football Earns Win at Nassau Community College

The scoring has been stingy the last few weeks for the Kats, but they again came out on top of a low scoring game, defeating Nassau Community College 14-7 on Saturday.
For the second week in row, the defense would score two safeties to help in the win. The lone Erie touchdown was scored on a three yard run by sophomore running back Bryant Jackson and kicker Gabriel Kempf added a 22 yard field goal.
The win improved the Kats to 5-2 on the season and moves them up to fifth in the NJCAA DIII football rankings.
They will travel to Hudson Valley on Saturday to take on the Vikings for the Region III Championship. Kick-off is set for 2:00 pm.
