Kats dominate Alfred JV to close in on perfect home stretch
The Erie Community College football team turned in a dominant performance on the road, defeating Alfred University JV by a score of 40–7. Both sides of the ball contributed in a complete team effort for the Kats.
Quarterback Noah Willoughby was sharp once again, completing 18 of 26 passes for 277 yards and two touchdowns. Jarrell Green and Reginald Hokes III each caught a touchdown pass, while Nigel Rossman hauled in six receptions for 77 yards and Tristan Park had 4 catches for 53 yards.
Defensively, Jayden Ransom led the charge with six tackles, two sacks, and one interception, while Isaiah Selby made a highlight play by blocking a punt that KJ Stinson recovered in the endzone for a touchdown. Romeo Kidd blocked an Alfred field goal attempt.
The Kats close out the season on Saturday when they host Hocking College. Kickoff is set for noon at Williamsville South High School.
