Erie Swimming and Diving Begin 2022-23 Season

ERIE Swimming and Diving competed at the Monroe Community College 2022 Fall invite in Rochester, NY on November 5th. This was the first competition of the year for the team.
Leading the way for the Kats was Freshman Ryan Nebrich who won two races. He placed first in the 200 free (1:59.08) and the 500 free (5:34.35). He also placed second in the 50 fly (27.20). Freshman Stu Jensen had a very strong performance in his three races as he finished third in the 200 IM (2:24.01), second in the 100 free (58.74) and second in the 100 breast (1:13.82). Freshman Arianna Dommell was fifth in the 50 free (32.82), fourth in the 100 free (1:14.96) and fourth in the 50 breast (43.64). Nate Setlock swam both the 200 free (2:33.94) placing fifth and a third place finish in the 100 back (1:25.08).
Both Ryan Nebrich and Stu Jensen did qualify for the NJCAA National Championships in March 2024 which will be held in Buffalo, NY.
Erie's next competition will be on November 16th at Jamestown Community College at 6:00pm.
