Erie Swimmers Qualify for National Championships

Erie Swimming competed in Jamestown this past Wednesday in a tri-meet against Monroe Community College and Jamestown Community College. In the Kat's second competition of the season, all swimmers have qualified for the Regional Championships in February.
Qualifying for the National Championships in March were Ryan Nebrich and Stu Jensen. Ryan placed first in both the 50 free (24.41) and the 100 back (1:05.73). Stu won the 100 IM (1:06.00) and placed third in the 200 free (2:10.23).
Also competing for ERIE were Nate Setlock who placed third in the 100 free (1:10.02) and fifth in the 50 free (31.53). Sam Vail was fifth in the 100 free (1:22.16) and sixth in the 50 free (35.05). All four men placed second in the 400 free relay (4:23.55).
Arianna Dommell was Erie's only woman at the meet and placed third in the 100 breast (1:33.37), fourth in the 200 free (2:52.69) and fourth in the 100 free (1:17.02).
Erie Swimming and Diving has their next competition on December 3rd at Herkimer College at 1:00pm.
