Men's Swimming Wins Herkimer Invite

The ERIE Men's Swimming team traveled to Herkimer College this past Saturday and competed against both Genesee Community College and Herkimer College. The Erie men came away winning the men's meet scoring 140 points. Genesee was second (125) and Herkimer was third (116).
Leading the way for Erie was Freshman Stu Jensen who qualified for the National Championships in two events. Stu won the 50 free (25.84) and the 500 free (5:52.73). Ryan Nebrich was also a double winner as he won the 100 free (54.10) and the 100 fly (1:03.61). Both of his times were also National qualifying times.
Also swimming well were both Nate Setlock who finished 2nd in the 100 back (1:22.20) and 6th in the 200 free (2:24.88). Sam Vail placed 3rd in the 50 free (31.21) and 6th in the 100 free (1:20.41).
All four men won the 200-medley relay with a (2:10.86).
Erie's next competition will be at Genesee Community College on Wednesday, December 14th starting at 6:00pm.
