Erie Swimming Posts Strong Performances at Jamestown Fall Invitational
The Erie Community College men's and women's swimming teams turned in several strong performances at the Jamestown Fall Invitational on Saturday, including multiple top-three finishes against a field that included Jamestown CC, Genesee CC, and Herkimer College.
The Kats delivered a series of standout swims, finishing second in the men's team standings with 200 points.

Tristen Madden earned a first-place finish in the 50 Backstroke with a time of 26.57, and later added a second-place finish in the 100 IM (1:07.64).

Aidyn Malek posted a strong meet, placing second in the 500 Freestyle (5:48.64) and swimming the opening leg on Erie's second-place 800 Freestyle Relay (9:18.09).

Peyton Jeris claimed first place in the 50 Butterfly (26.93), along with scoring in both the 50 Freestyle (26.62, 3rd) and the 100 Freestyle (59.90, 4th).

Erie's 200 Medley Relay team of Madden, Jharee Hollingsworth, Jeris, and Malek secured a third-place finish(1:59.43).
The Erie women's team was highlighted by top-three placements.

Lexi Oldman led the way for the Kats, taking third place in the 500 Freestyle with a time of 6:34.61, improving significantly from her seed time. She also placed 5th in the 50 Freestyle (30.67).

In relay action, Oldman helped power Erie in both sprint and distance events, contributing key legs throughout the meet.
Despite limited roster size, the women's team showed competitiveness across individual and relay events.
