Cervino Powers Kats with Walk off Grand Slam

Erie softball started a month long stretch of home games on Monday with a 14-3 victory over Finger Lakes Community College.  The Lady Kats improved their Region III record to 3-0 with another impressive offensive display led by catcher Anna Cervino who finished the day going three for four with five RBI's including a walk off grand slam in the fifth to end it. In all the Kats would plate eight runs in the fifth.

Natalie Witt would add three hits of her own with one RBI. Cheyenne Barnard, Samantha Wing and Bella Raimondi would each add two hits and an RBI a piece. Emily Pacheco would chip in with a hit and an RBI and Brianna Farnsworth would add a hit of her own with two RBI's.

In the circle for the Kats, Emma Rozborski dominated tossing a two hitter with seven K's. She would also add a bunt single that paced a three run fourth inning.

Up next the Kats will host Monroe for a double header on Thursday April 18th.
