Women's Basketball Outlasts Columbus State Community College, 64-53

Buffalo, NY -- With a three point lead heading into the fourth quarter, the Kats began to pull away, leading to a 64-53 win for the Kats. The Kats outscored the Cougars 18-10 in th fourth quarter to clinch the victory.
21 points from Aisha Shabazz, including nine in the fourth quarter, lead the Kats to victory while 17 from Jaisy Soto and 15 from Estella Anderson solidified the offensive attack for the Kats. Shabazz added 12 rebounds while Janae Brannon added 10 assists.
The Kats dominated the boards, out-rebounding the Cougars 53-36.
The Kats will hit the road to take on Cuyahoga Community College on Wednesday December 12th at 5PM in their final came before the winter break.
