Buffalo, NY- The Erie women's basketball team used a strong second half to secure their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon. The Kats defeated Corning Community College 56-35 at the Flickinger Center to go 1-1 on the year.
Erie had two players in double digits in both points and rebounds. Freshman Dominique Doss had 18 points and 14 rebounds while freshman Briana Millender added 14 points, 14 rebounds and five assists.
Erie will take the court again on Wednesday when they travel to Lakeland Community College for a 5:30 pm match-up.
