The Erie women's basketball team fell to the Monroe Community College Tribunes at the Flickinger Center 60-47. The Tribunes came out pressing to build a 20 point lead at the half. Erie would find a bit of a groove in the second half and would outscore Monroe in the fourth quarter 20-6 to end the game on a positive note.
Leading the way for the Kats was Mia Special who scored 15 points and had eight rebounds and three steals. Freshman Olivia Ball, who joined the team this semester, had 14 points and seven rebounds.
Up next, the Kats will host Niagara County Community College on January 31st.
