Kats fall to HVCC, 2-1

The Kats fell to the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings, 2-1, at South Campus on Saturday. The first half was a back and fourth contest with both teams getting on the board.

The Kats scored first when Abbey Lombard would bury a pass from Sam Carey in the 6th minute of the game. The Vikings would answer late in the half to tie the game.

In the second half, the Kats dominated pace of play but couldn't finish their oppurtunities.

The Vikings would take advantage of the Kats misfortune and score late to take the lead and hang on for a victory despite a late push from the Kats. 

The Kats will look to bounce back on Thursday when they take on Genesee Community College on the road at 5PM.
