Women's Soccer Shuts Out Mohawk Valley Community College, 3-0
Strong defense and a quick offense pays off for the Kats

In the opening match of the season, the Kats defeated Mohawk Valley Community College 3-0 at ECC South Campus.
After a tough start to the match, Abbey Lombard opened the scoring for the Kats with a goal off a cross from Sam Carey to give the Kats a 1-0 lead. The Kats would add two goals from Sam Carey and Rachel Fiore early in the second half to seal the victory. The Kats dominated possesion in the second half, include terrific play from the defense.
The Kats next game is Thursday when they travel to play Mercryhurst North East.
