Volleyball Gets the Win at Corning CC

Corning, NY- The Kats volleyball team picked up an important win on Friday, defeating Corning Community College in three sets. Erie won 26-16, 25-22 and 25-20 in a match that has post season implications.
"We needed this win to keep our shot at post-season play alive," said Coach Craig Starzynski. "Jordyn Morreale played amazing tonight and came up with big kills when we needed them." The freshman had eight kills during the match to help power the Erie offense. Sara Domanowski had 25 assists while Natalie Ruhlmann contributed 21 digs.
The Kats will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Jamestown Community College at the Burt Flickinger Center at 7:00 pm.
