The Erie volleyball team defeated Cayuga Community College (25-7, 25-14 and 25-12), Onondaga Community College (25-14, 17-25, 25-18, 22-25 and 15-12) and Jefferson Community College (24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 25-23) in their final POD play of the season. This extends the Kats winning streak to eight to close out the regular season.
Standout play from the Kats came from Natalie Ruhlmann, Courtney Fusco, Molly McKinnon and Jordyn Morreale. McKinnon finished the day with 40 kills, 46 digs and 23 aces.
"Today was a great day," said Coach Craig Starzynski. " We're continuing to grow as a team and we are unifying at the right time. Natalie was the best defensive player in the gym, like she usually is. Molly had an incredible serving day. Each match a different player has been stepping up these past few weeks so we are on a tear right now," he continued.
Erie will compete in the WNYAC tournament on Saturday, being held at Niagara County Community College.
