Volleyball Sweeps Jamestown at Home

The Erie Community College women's volleyball team earned a straight-set victory over Jamestown on Thursday night, winning 25-22, 25-23, 25-23.
Although the Kats came away with the 3-0 sweep, head coach Craig Starzynski noted the performance left room for improvement. "This wasn't our best day, but we were lucky Sami and Erin hit really well," the coach said. "We'll take the win, but there is still a lot to figure out on our end."
Samantha Padilla led Erie in kills, while Cianna Marasco paced the defense with a team-high in digs.
The win adds momentum to Erie's season as they continue to navigate conference play.
