Erie Community College volleyball continued its strong postseason run with a sweep over Corning Community College in the NJCAA Region III semifinals. The Kats won in straight sets to advance to Sunday's championship match against top-seeded Hudson Valley Community College.
"We're playing our best volleyball right now—everything is clicking," said head coach Craig Starzynski. "Bella and Erin were consistently great today!"
Following the match, several Kats were recognized for their outstanding seasons. Samantha Padilla was named to the 1st Team All-Region, Kadie Benzel earned 3rd Team All-Region honors, and Erin Parker received Honorable Mentionrecognition.
The Kats will face Hudson Valley for the Region III Championship on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
