Kats volleyball sweeps Mohawk Valley at home

The Erie Community College volleyball team continued its strong play with a straight-set victory over Mohawk Valley Community College on Sunday afternoon at the Burt Flickinger Center.
Head coach Craig Starzynski was pleased with the team's all-around effort, saying, "Everything was clicking today. Kadie served great and our middles were phenomenal. Cam and Bella came off the bench and gave us a great spark."
Kadie Benzel led the Kats with 14 assists, while Cianna Marasco added 11. Erin Parker and Samantha Padilla each recorded 8 kills, and Faith Gummo contributed 6 digs in the win.
Up next, Erie is home again on Tuesday when they host Roberts Wesleyan JV at 6:00 p.m.
