The Erie Community College volleyball team split its matches during Sunday's POD play, defeating Jamestown Community College in straight sets (25–18, 25–17, 25–15) before falling to Genesee Community College in a tightly contested three-set match (24–26, 23–25, 25–27).
Head coach Craig Starzynski said, "Both Erin and Sami really played well today. When everything is clicking, we're a tough team to beat."
Erie was led by Samantha Padilla with 16 kills, Kadie Benzel with 28 assists, and Faith Gummo with 17 digs.
